Annual Teen Parenting Workshops
Each year, Voices Unchained hosts interactive Teen Parenting Workshops designed to equip young mothers and fathers with practical tools, emotional support, and confidence as they navigate parenthood. In partnership with local schools and community organizations, including Nowell Academy, we create safe spaces where parenting students can learn, grow, and feel seen.
Through education, mentorship, and open dialogue, we address both the practical realities of raising a child and the emotional challenges of parenting at a young age
Objectives
- Provide practical parenting education on infant care, child development, and healthy routines.
- Support teen parents in balancing school, work, and family responsibilities.
- Foster a judgment-free environment where young parents feel empowered and affirmed.
- Connect students to community resources and long-term support systems.
Intended Outcomes
- Increased parenting confidence and knowledge among teen mothers and fathers.
- Improved access to educational and community-based support services.
- Strengthened emotional resilience and peer support networks.
- Greater school engagement and long-term goal planning for young parents.
